Position: Electrical Project Manager Reports To: Vice President of Engineering Date: March 2018 Employment Status: Full time, salaried exempt employee Position Description Responsible for the design and execution of industrial controls projects including control panel design, PLC/HMI programming, power system design, AC and DC drive systems and industrial machinery troubleshooting assistance. Responsibilities
- Lead design effort for electrical controls and power distribution projects
- Oversee installation and commissioning to assure adherence to design criteria
- Prepare budgetary estimates and track expenses for electrical controls projects
- Assist maintenance and production departments in troubleshooting issue with manufacturing equipment
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred – Electrical Engineering
- Associates Degree in electrical technology may be acceptable for the right candidate
- 3+ years’ experience developing and troubleshooting Allen-Bradley software and hardware, RS Logix 500 Preferred
- 3+ years’ experience developing HMI software, Ignition, and RS View Preferred
- 3+ years’ experience in PID loop tuning and process control systems
- 3+ years’ experience in electrical control and power system design and implementation
- 3+ years’ experience in industrial control panel design
- 3+ years’ experience with Autocad Electrical software
- 3+ years’ experience working in the industrial manufacturing environment with maintenance personnel
- 3+ years’ experience troubleshooting industrial manufacturing equipment
- Ability to work alone or in a team environment
- Ability to communicate well with managers, engineers, technicians, machine operators, contractors
