A Custom Product Success Story

We pride ourselves on our ability to work with our customers to meet any unique challenges that they come across. At the end of the day we’re not just selling products, we work with end users to create long term solutions; that’s why it’s in our name!

This week’s video features a unique case study where Nick Temple worked closely with an organization to address a particular issue, and in the process discovered a whole new world of applications.

Aluminum Composite Material 101

ACM signs, or Aluminum Composite Material signs, consist of two thin sheets of aluminum sandwiched around a solid polyethylene core, creating a lightweight yet sturdy material that is widely used for signage applications.

5 Key Advantages of ACM Signs

1. Lightweight Yet Durable:

ACM signs are much lighter than solid aluminum signs, making them easier to install and transport. Despite their lighter weight, they are nearly twice as rigid as aluminum signs, making them ideal for both indoor and outdoor use.

2. Weather Resistance

We use a patented coating on all of our ACM signs that is highly resistant to weather, making them perfect for long-term outdoor signage. They can withstand UV rays, rain, wind, and other harsh environmental conditions without fading or warping, which often occurs in other materials over time.

3. Cost-Effective

The polyethylene core makes ACM more affordable than solid aluminum signs. While maintaining a professional look, ACM signs offer cost savings without compromising quality.

4. Unlimited Colors and Designs

Our ACM signs are digitally printed so we can offer unlimited colors and custom designs without charging extra.

5. Unlimited Shapes

Using our state-of-the-art CNC cutter, ACM sign can be easily cut and shaped into various sizes and designs. This flexibility makes it ideal for creating custom signage with unique shapes or dimensions.

If you’d like to learn more, we have another great case study example where ACM signs were able to solve a particular need to U.S. Sugar & Fastenal.
